EC Surfacing has successfully completed another large-scale surfacing project, delivering a high-quality pavement solution covering approximately 4,200m².

The works involved the installation of a full pavement construction using more than 2,500 tonnes of asphalt, demonstrating the capability of our experienced teams to deliver projects of significant scale while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

The project included:

- 1,500 tonnes of AC32 Road Base
- 600 tonnes of AC20 Binder Course
- 400 tonnes of 10mm SMA Surface Course

Each stage of the surfacing programme was carefully planned and executed to ensure a durable, long-lasting finish capable of withstanding heavy traffic demands. From the initial road base through to the final Stone Mastic Asphalt surface course, every layer was laid using modern plant, skilled operatives and strict quality control procedures.

Projects of this size require careful coordination between our surfacing crews, supply chain partners and site management team to ensure materials are delivered efficiently and works are completed safely and on programme.
